Our company specializes in the development of innovative chemical processes. To this end, we are planning to scale up a homogeneous organometallic catalyst that is produced in a multi-stage synthesis process. The aim is to scale up production from the kilogram scale to the ton scale and to support implementation by external contract manufacturers (CMOs).

- Project management: Planning, controlling and monitoring the entire scaling process from kilo lab to production scale.
- Contract manufacturer selection: Identification, evaluation and selection of suitable contract manufacturers (CMOs) for the production of the organometallic complex.
- Technology transfer: Transfer of the synthesis methodology to the contract manufacturers including training and technical support.
- Process monitoring: Accompanying and monitoring the scale-up steps at the contract manufacturers, from the initial pilot phase to production on a ton scale.
- Quality assurance: Ensuring that the products meet the defined specifications, regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Communication and coordination: Regular exchange with internal and external stakeholders, preparation of reports and documentation on the progress of the project.
- Problem solving: Technical and organizational support for challenges that arise during the scale-up.
- Cost control: Budget planning and control as well as negotiations with contract manufacturers. The aim here is to secure core components in the necessary quantities and prices.
- Contract management: Coordination of the creation of industry-standard customer-supplier contracts, including cooperation with specialized external service providers such as lawyers and consultants. Development and implementation of (strategic) cooperation models including contract negotiations that go beyond a traditional customer-supplier relationship.
- Risk management: development of strategies to avoid supply bottlenecks and development of alternative solutions (second sourcing).
