The short version: What's this about?
We build and operate pilot plants for a new process to produce green methanol – a climate-friendly fuel. For that, we need someone who gets hands-on, thinks along, and knows their trade.
No serial production, no assembly line. Instead: varied work on research plants, your own workshop, and a team of technicians, engineers and chemists working together as equals.
Your tasks – specifically
- Look after plants: Build, modify, maintain and repair pilot plants – pumps, valves, piping, sensors
- Run your own workshop: Your area, your responsibility – from organisation to tool procurement
- Metalwork: Tube bending (1/8"–3/4"), fittings (Swagelok & similar), minor machining work
- Electrical work: Run cables, swap components, check electrical connections
- Operate plants: Start up, monitor and document chemical pilot plants according to instructions
- Maintenance & inspection: Follow maintenance schedules, spot faults, repair or replace small components
- Safety: Work safely with pressurised systems and chemicals, following all health, safety and environmental regulations
